Clinical Expertise

Dr. Tim Birdsall is an experienced Naturopathic Doctor who has had the privilege of working in a wide variety of clinical settings, including primary naturopathic care and hospital-based oncology. While seeing patients of all ages with a broad range of health concerns, Dr. Tim has a particular interest in helping people with chronic disease.

Philosophy of Care

“My favorite part of patient care, beyond helping my patients get better, is to assist them in understanding the biology of their disease and the science behind both their conventional and natural therapeutic options. I am committed to translating medicine and science into easily understood concepts, since we are all empowered through knowledge. Patients make the best decisions for themselves when they fully understand their health condition and treatment options.”

“I am passionate about really listening to my patients. There are many layers and complexities when an individual is diagnosed with a chronic disease. I believe it is critical to understand everything I can about that person, including their lifestyle, stressors, diet, and overall health. Too often, a diagnosis is quickly made, and treatment recommended, without necessarily understanding what is right for that person. I see myself as a health detective, uncovering the clues that will lead to the most effective therapeutic strategies for each individual.”
