Fire Cider Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. grated fresh horseradish root
- 1/2 c. or more chopped onion
- 1/4 c. or more chopped garlic
- 1/4 c. or more grated ginger
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- Apple Cider Vinegar(raw and organic) I recommend Braggs
- Honey
Instructions
- Place the horseradish, onion, garlic and ginger into half gallon mason jar and cover with vinegar by 3-4 inches above. Cover with lid and let jar sit in warm space for 3-4 weeks.
- After 3-4 weeks strain the solids reserving the liquid. Warm honey(for mixing in ) and add to the vinegar to taste. Add in a pinch of cayenne. The taste should be hot, spicy and sweet.
- Refrigerate or store in cool cupboard. Will last for months.
- Take a shot glass full daily or a tsp. several times a day if feeling under the weather. I also like to use this as a salad dressing.
