Philosophy of Care:
“I believe that the deepest healing occurs when we address our entire being, from cell to spirit. Life is meant to be more than just getting by - it’s about thriving, and we need to address the whole self in order to do that. Bio-individuality is also very important in designing the best healthcare plan, since no two people are alike. Therefore, I believe that healing best occurs in a collaborative relationship between me and my patients, where I provide a safe and non-judgmental place to listen to your story - and that unique story often holds the key to your healing. It is not about being healthy per se - it's about what being healthy allows you to do, and how it allows you to be, in this life.”
Ana graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Psychology in 1996 and was inducted into the PsyChi Honor Society. After working as an international climbing guide until 2001, she went on to the University of California, San Francisco where she received her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004 and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
