Her passion for seeking exceptional health and everyday happiness has led her to acupuncture and Chinese herbs as tools to achieve this.
Tina believes that we must all seek the health and balance in life to carry out our dreams; she is here to facilitate in that process. This can be achieved through balancing meridians (channels) with acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicines, nutritional counseling, exercise, and positive affirmations/meditation.
Tina combines various aspects of traditional Chinese medicine, Japanese, and Five Element acupuncture to utilize the appropriate treatment for the individual. Her continuing education consists of studying under Dr. Richard Tan and practicing his methods of treatment. Tina Harmon is certified in Cranio Sacral I and applies various combinations of care with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Certified as a Universal Tao instructor for various meditative practices, she believes in the body and mind connection.
Tina will often use tuning forks, apply cupping, moxa, and other tools in treatments. These various tools can be used in conjunction with western medicine prescriptions and protocols, presenting very few, if any, negative side effects.
Tina has seen acupuncture effectively work for various types of pain(both acute and chronic), women's health issues, digestive issues, fatigue, fibromyalgia, insomnia, stress/anxiety, and other emotional imbalances.
Being raised in Girdwood, Alaska at the Harmon Health and Regeneration Center allowed Tina to observe and learn various modalities of healing. Tina enjoys the fresh air and the mountains. She enjoys snowboarding, biking, and hiking and believes Mother Nature is a powerful force that can provide us with many strengths and insights.
