“In my view, Avante offers the public a multi-disciplinary/alternative approach to many health challenges.  The different therapies (nutritional IV’s, hormone replacement, nutritional counseling, chelation, colonics, myofascial work, massage, different allergy approaches, etc.) all work complementary with each other to the benefit of the patients.  Each approach is a “piece of the pie” in helping the patient reach his/her health goals.” 

Pat was born, raised and educated in Iowa, but moved to Anchorage in 1967.  She graduated from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in Davenport, IA in 1966.  Over the years, she has worked as a RN (registered nurse) in hospitals on Internal Medical floors, Surgery, and in a doctor’s office.  She was also the Office Manager of her husband’s chiropractic office for 20 years.

Her specialty here at Avante is the work she does with NAETs (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Treatment), which she started studying in 1994. 

NAET  is an alternative option for patients with allergies/sensitivities.  NAET eliminates these problems with a completely natural, painless, non-invasive technique. Determination of allergies is done by muscle testing to different substance vials.  Treatments are accomplished by stimulating acupuncture points while holding the specific allergic vials. 

This gentle approach allows safe treatment of all types of people including newborn babies, elderly, ill and weak individuals as well as fairly healthy people who want to enhance their immune systems.
